More about the practice

Common questions

Before you book.

What happens in the consultation?
Forty five minutes, one to one. We review your situation against the programs you actually qualify for, discuss realistic timelines, and identify the risks in your file. You leave with a written summary of your options.
Why does the consultation cost money?
Because it is professional advice, not a sales call. The fee is $85 plus applicable tax. Urgent consultations are $105 plus applicable tax and include a call back within 2 business hours. If you retain IKIC for a full application afterwards, the consultation fee is credited toward your service fee.
Do you guarantee approval?
No, and neither can anyone else. Decisions rest with IRCC and ESDC. What a licensed consultant provides is a correctly prepared, fully evidenced application and honest advice about your chances before you spend money on one.
How do employers get started?
Employer conversations are free. Fill in the short form, pick a time, and we will call you. If an LMIA is the wrong route we will say so and look at LMIA exempt options such as Francophone Mobility.
How do I verify that IKIC is licensed?
Search licence number R1040882 on the public register maintained by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. We recommend you verify any representative you are considering, including us.

Start where you are.

Employers and applicants take different paths. Pick yours and we will take it from there.
